2. Should have submitted an abstract to the 3rd ACPID Convention which is accepted for presentation. Please indicate in abstract if the author is applying for the award and author’s contact information.
   
   
3. Abstracts should not have been published in any journal nor presented in an international conference before March 7, 2006.
   
   
4. Applicant should be the presenting author
   
   
5. Should be nominated by a faculty member or department head of the university/hospital/agency of employment of applicant’s affiliation using the university/hospital/agency’s letterhead stating that the applicant is a holder of a doctor of medicine degree and may be undergoing training in the field of infectious disease/microbiology or completed training in such field in the last five (5) years at the time of the meeting.
